About Artistic Flowers

Florists in the United States range from neighborhood flower shops with a walk-in cooler to studio designers who work only by appointment for weddings and events. Most retail florists build arrangements to order, deliver the same day when you call before early afternoon, and belong to a wire network (FTD, Teleflora or BloomNet) that passes out-of-town orders to a local shop. Ordering from the shop directly rather than through a national website usually means more flowers for the money, because no order-gatherer takes a cut. Flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, often early in the morning, and many now open to the public. Flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies and sunflowers and sell by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Artistic Flowers at (309) 347-0022; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, artisticflowerspekin.net.
Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 106 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded florists in Pekin.
Pekin is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Pekin follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Ordered Same day for a Mother's Day delivery for the Grandma and the plant showed up so healthy and beautiful!! They even added 2 beautiful red roses to the plant at no charge. Plant came staked and in a beautiful pot. Even added a purple butterfly which reminded both of us of my mother who recently passed (her daughter) needless to say she loves the plant. They did an amazing job!

My husband ordered me some flowers to be delivered for my birthday yesterday and I’m very disappointed in the quality of the flowers. The roses seem old and are already getting spots on them. He also paid for a DOZEN red roses and there’s only 11. Save your money and order from someone else if you have a special occasion. He also tried calling to tell them and they never answered.

Called and placed an order over the phone for my mom. The man who answered and took my order was so kind and very helpful. I told him what kind of flowers I’d want and the size of the bouquet and it was super reasonably priced too. Something happened and their delivery driver was unable to drop them off so he actually drove out to do it himself! The arrangement was beautiful. It also arrived with a teddy bear - 10/10! I’ll definitely continue to use them as long as I have family in Pekin/Manito 🤍

Crys and Kathy did such a wonderful job on our flowers for our wedding. Everything turned out beautiful. We are so happy and so grateful! They were so helpful, sweet, and fun to work with! The flowers were fresh and arranged elegantly for the bouquets, boutonnières, corsages, and alter flowers. They also did a white rose in memory of my grandma. Everything looks amazing in the pictures! Thank you to everyone there for helping us have the wedding of our dreams—especially Crys and Kathy!

Absolutely stunning florist. I spoke to her on the phone about a funeral arrangement - as I did with several other florists - and that short conversation convinced me to go there. The very friendly and knowledgeable staff there - all of them - helped us to make difficult choices. I will happily use them again.
